Financial Insight NZ Limited was originally founded in 1988, incorporated in 1993 as an independent brokerage by Greg Coldicutt. In 2020, the Firm has been granted a ‘Transitional Licence’ to operate as a Financial Advice provider (FAP) – FSP Number 722511, effective 2021 to 2023.

Greg is a Financial Adviser (FSP Number FSP67081) and has over 33 years’ experience as an Adviser, which means you get the benefit from his years of knowledge and experience, especially when it comes to the complexity of selecting the right insurance or retirement solution for you or working with you at claim time.

Greg works with his wife, Gaynor, who is the Client & Administration Manager for the Firm. Additional Specialists in their respective areas of expertise outside our scope of service are available as the need arises.

When you become a client of Financial Insight NZ Ltd, our involvement is to provide sound financial solutions advice, to be available for regular review and/or amendments as required due to life changes and on request.

We are available to answer any queries regarding the Product, offering assistance with managing the policy/plan as required, and, importantly, to work side-by-side with you should a Claim be made from advising a claim to the Insurer through until the claim is paid.

Financial Insight NZ Limited operates on a fee-for-service basis or a commission basis and disclose this prior to engagement. We are independent of any Financial Institution in New Zealand and have been since incorporation in 1993 – we are proud of this fact as we work for you, not a Bank, Insurer or Fund Manager. The Firm operates in New Zealand only.

We donate 10% of all income to select charities close to our hearts, each year – it’s part of who we are and what we do in our communities.
